Our Story...

We didn’t set out to develop a business, we set out to assist one district in answering the question “What is it about TIME that is helping one building achieve tremendous success with high risk students, as compared to the other buildings in the district that were not achieving the same impressive student results”?

 

The founder of Time ReDesigned, was hired as a consultant to help the district understand what was working in the “bright spot” building, in order to be able to replicate the blueprint for success across all other buildings in the district. In order to understand what the successful Principal was doing with the TIME in her building, the founder built a prototype system to implement a Time Audit process, and then sort the data by indicators of leadership effectiveness, analyze the data, and develop an action plan to assist the other building Principals in re-allocating their time to achieve better results.

 

There was so much excitement regarding the professional learning that each administrator reported from the TR process, that the founder took the prototype to a few other districts in different states and asked them if it was something that would help them also better understand the element of TIME in their buildings and subsequently improve student outcomes. Each district reported that the resource was valuable and they wanted to be able to use it in a long-term capacity. The founder quickly realized that she would not be able to support the resource in a long-term capacity if it lived in the prototype form where she had to work side-by-side with the implementers. She knew that in order to broadly disseminate the solution, it would have to be taken to scale and developed into a native application and an interactive dashboard that could be implemented without intensive consultant support.

And here we are today, ready to recruit clients to be the first to experience the process of ReDesigning professional time in order to get the most out of every minute of every school day. We recognize that we can’t give school administrators more time, but we can help them achieve more with the time they already have.
